Silky Paws CHOCOLATE!!

Silky Paws Chocolate

I honestly can not wait for FRIDAY WEEK 4!! ~

I'm so excited because next friday my friend and I have to make chocolates for the whole school and parents!! Of course other year 6 kids are making things too. There's chocolate, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, lollipops, lemonade and extra!! Emelia (My friend) and I- (Bella), Are making chocolate.

We decided to make chocolate since recently we had chosen to learn about the product. Since we already know SO MUCH about it, why not?

We decided since it's WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to actually go from the first step of growing and buying the seeds, we bought chocolate from the supermarket. NOW WAIT A MINUTE!!~ You might think we are doing copyright to others chocolate-with buying it and all. But it's not like that! NO. We do not just steal chocolate and be lazy bones. It's a different story.

Once we buy the chocolate we go to each others houses to melt it. We have to make sure we don't boil the chocolate, of course. We add our own ingredients, like, the Crunchy Catty Chocolate-known as C.C.C- we added nuts to our made up product so that it was CRUNCHY. We add our own different ingredients.

Now, since we made the chocolate, we need to name the product brand and logo. Our logo was decided to be Silky Paws. Silky chocolate and S.P.C.A donation-Paws. We have three different chocolate types for three different brands.
White Chocolate: Silky Sensation
Dark Chocolate: Doggy Delight
Crunchy Chocolate: Catty Crunch

Hope you enjoyed!

Our amazing, wonderful, beautiful, terrific, awesome art!

                                   My Art

In the fabulous room 2, we have been learning about an art called Zentangle. Here are some patterns: Tipple, Florz, Oke Root, Mist, Cresent moon, Hilliborough and Static. We had to practice our artwork so that when we do the real thing it'll be good. We did short designs on a small piece of paper to practice. I hope you like mine, here is my artwork:

MATHS!!!!! 3D Shapes Room.

3D maths room creation!!

This week, (btw week six), Mr Kinsey gave us maths instructions.
Practically we had to make a room using 3D shapes. Most of us did different things,
I created a room on a google drawing. I labeled all the shapes I used in the room.
Here is my picture:

8" Circle Geometric Patterens

Geometric Patterns
# By Bella.

In room 2 we are doing geometric patterns.
Mr kinsey, (I don't know if I've mentioned our second teacher), had given us a sheet of paper that had a perfect circle on it. We had to use protractors, rulers and colours.
We used the colours for the end. We had to use 36 out of 360 degrees for each line to join up. Here is my geometric pattern:
I hope you like it. :)

Worm Explaination

This is my Worm Explanation. Room 2 has been working on this for awhile. I'm really proud of my work, I like the drawings. My friends have done really good to. We've worked as a team to remind each other what you feed worms and what you don't, what they live in and how they make burrows. A lot of us have worked hard learning what the worms do, lets just say we've learnt a lot about them. We made our own discs that show and explain.

My Matariki Presintation

By Bella
Matariki is the seven brightest stars
You can only see them in late May or June early dawn
If they are bunched together, it means this year will be hard for our food to harvest.
If they are clear and spaced, this means it will be a good year to harvest our food.
Matariki actually means ‘Eyes of god’ In Maori its called mata ariki, or its called ‘little eyes’ mata riki. I call it matariki.
How is matariki really created?
Are matariki really stars? They could be anything.
#These Questions are never going to get answered.
Well.. that's what I think..
Long ago, there was four tribe’s. They were once friends, but now foes. The winter winds started this. Everyone was cold, hungry and close to death. They all went mad, every single one. They fought over food. One day, there was a boy, who had a clear mind. He didn't like the fighting. He thought it was a waste of blood being spilled and deaths for nothing. He saw all the stars at night and thought maybe they were lost souls. He prayed every night and cried. One night, he cried again and all of a sudden his tears lifted up into the starry sky. They became the brightest seven stars there. The seven stars bring peace and lots of food in the forest. No more fighting.
7x2 Ariki-parents-  Maia, Aria, Mother-Papatuanuku, Ranginui Father, Electra, Matariki, Waita, Atlas, Merope.

My Starry, Starry, Very Pretty, Starry, Night

Okay, So the class was told to that we are going to do some art. The art will be called, Starry Night. I decided to make not just a city, and a tree.. But I wanted to do something different, something No-one in the class had done, Yet. So I decided to do a light-house, Its on the top of that snowy mountain-> I also wanted to do a lonely cabin no where near the city. So I put it underneath the light-house mountain, on the part which is not snowy.. but on the same hill. Then, I liked my Starry night, but something was missing, there was behind the city a bare, alone, area. I put a camp, right there, with a camp fire. The shooting stars and everything was perfect. I hope you like my art work, We used Black paper, glue, scissors. We used yellow, green, blue, orange and red paper for the city lights. Then the background is painted, we double loaded. Here is my art ->

Lilly is also egg-cited to hang out with Charlotte today. Charlotte and Lilly are cheeky. I'm happy that my egg has good friends.

My Quick Write,

Hello, A few days ago Mrs Cameron

told us we were going to do a quick write.

I was excited, of course. We needed to write
about what is happening in this picture that we all got given.
So here I have described what I think happened in the picture,
'By the way.. It's about a boy'

Auckland Dream

I looked below me. This was it. This was my chance, a change for life.. at least for a few minutes or hours. Anyway, my hands were shaking with excitement. Legs aching. Throat was tight. The clouds ran along the sky, boats silently sailing along the clear blue wavy water. My family was at home, not knowing that I'm here but.. they're not coming after me. At least, not yet.
I took a deep breath, I was going to jump. I felt my blood pulsing inside me. I started to climb this small ladder which was attached to the dock. I was high above water, I looked down, water splashed against the wooden bars that were holding the dock.
I took another deep breath and jumped.. I felt that moment, soaring in the air.. Splash. I shook my head, now that moment was over. It was time to move on, salty water rushed through me. I was in a reef now, I forced myself to open my eyes. Wow. The reef seemed to float on the sand, Fish glided through the water. I followed a school of medium sized fish, they were cat fish.
All of the sudden the sand seemed to drop away, like going down a hill. I went down, fish still went forward, they weren't coming with me. I looked around. “Wow” I thought in my head. Swish. Something was here, watching me. It was hard to tell which bush, or coral had something behind it. All of the coral and seaweed swished, floated and swayed. Then.. a SHARK came. It swivelled through the water, becoming one of the sea. I widened my eyes. I needed to get out of here. I also needed air to breath.. but if I went up, the shark would come after me. Die of breath, or, die of the shark? WHATEVER! I NEED TO BREATH!
I swam up to the surface. OH NO. I was about 50 MM away from land, wait a minute.. I'm in the feeding spot! No wonder there was a shark! No, about five sharks! They were circling me, well, some of them.

“HEY!” someone yelled. “GET OUT OF THE WATER!!” The sound was a man voice. “How!?” I blubbered, coughing the salty water. “Grab my hand!”. Now a ladies voice shouted. I turned around. There was a lady, blonde hair. I grabbed her hand and she pulled me out of the water. “Thank you!” I gasped, taking the air. “What where you doing?” The man said. “I went for a swim, I followed some fish and then there was this hill, like, sandy hill going downward. I went and realised that there was a shark there” I explained. “Come on, let’s get you home” The lady said and drove toward the dock. “Thank you” I smiled.

My Favourite Writing: Spinning World.

Mrs Cameron told the class that we were going to make a poem.
I was so excited! It feel's as if I haven't had to make a poem in ages! Mrs Cameron said we needed comma's, short powerful sentences and no words that aren't necessary for using. Here is my poem, it was so awesomely fun!

๐Ÿ˜ Spinning World๐Ÿฃ
The crowd whisper’s for us to start.
I look around, My nerves rising.
The ball plungers toward me,
I bounce throw the ball,
It twisted in the air,
Hitting the ground then rebounding toward my team.
I raced in front of the girl holding the ball,
She passes the ball toward me.
I raced toward the ball so my opponent couldn't steal my prey.
I turn
See my chance,
Eyes burn into my back,
I shoot,
It wobbles on top of the hoop
                          And then,
                                    And then,
                                             And then..

it falls.
